About DKA Woodworking

DKA Woodworking is based out of Tucson, AZ. While many pieces feature local wood such as mesquite and olive, wood is sourced from around the country. A mixed wood piece may feature boxelder from a farm in North Dakota, white oak or black maple from a Minnesota forest alongside woods native to the Southwest such as olive, mesquite or African Sumac (Rhus lancea). Expand the accordions to learn more.

Planning a piece takes time and room to percolate. A piece of unfinished wood sometimes needs to site on a shelf for a year or more, waiting to reveal what it’s meant to be.
